Forerunners International

The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make straight in the desert
A highway for our God."

- Isaiah 40:3

Our Mission

Forerunners International Network serves to bring and knit together those churches and leaders around the world who are focused on the unity of the Holy Spirit, in like mind, purpose and approach. These ministries are called to blaze a trail for the future of the church, in line with the Gospel according to Jesus.

Since 1997 at the outset of this ministry, the founding members have worked long and hard to equip the saints. Forerunners International primarily exists to ‘Prepare a Way’ for prophetic and apostolic ministries especially to be raised up and become established in the Body of Christ, both male and female being encouraged and helped into all God has predestined for them. Forerunners International sends ministers far and wide around the globe teaching courses, seminars and schools to achieve this goal.

Worship, relationship and abandonment to the leading of the Holy Spirit are a primary emphasis at Forerunners and form a strong foundation and platform for our growth. We want to see the church at large delivered from religious bondage and into freedom of expression towards God.

We are available and already assisting new/struggling/transitioning churches in many areas of ministry. We have a healthy database of trained five-fold and other ministries who are ready, willing and able to ‘be sent’! In particular our prophets love to help people to identify God’s call on their life. We therefore are presently used in the following ways:

We therefore are presently used in the following ways:

  • To send out apostolic and prophetic teams into the world to help accomplish this

  • To assist in the establishing and strengthening of local churches worldwide, especially those who are struggling

  • To encourage and refresh the Body of Christ

  • To be God's voice in this hour, in this region and beyond

  • To intercede for revival and harvest

  • To conduct seminars, conferences and schools

  • To build a network of relating ministries

Foundation and History

Founded in May 1997, Forerunners International was originally known as Gold Coast Prophets. It was birthed in response to God’s mandate to Lynne Hamilton to “Establish a Prophetic Stronghold” on Queensland’s Gold Coast – Australia’s major tourist centre and an environment encouraging and promoting much new age activity.

Lynne was instructed by God to “Create an environment where My Spirit can move and My people can speak.” Mid-week meetings were commenced based on this directive, attracting people from far and wide, who responded enthusiastically to the great freedom of worship, prophetic flow and crowd participation.

Prophetic and Restoration schools were introduced to effect healing and equipping for the many wounded and confused, but extremely gifted people who didn’t seem to fit ‘church’. We also went regularly into psychic fairs and new age environments seeking to rescue the lost and backslidden, with great success.

Two years later in 1999 a local assembly was formally established to house the numbers of prophetic people who were now calling Gold Coast Prophets ‘home’. New Year 2002 brought a change of dynamic as well as a new name as Gold Coast Prophets transitioned into Apostolic order and function, furthering their prophetic pioneering spirit and heart.

Forerunners International began its journey.
